Naturalist and Kripalu Mindful Outdoor Guide Andrea Higgins and the Orleans Conservation Trust invite caregivers to slow down and explore the outdoors together with their newborns for Babies in Backpacks.
Bring your baby in a backpack carrier or sling for a gentle, hour-long walk on Orleans conservation lands to experience the sights, sounds, and seasonal changes of the natural world together. These walks offer a chance for caregivers to spend time outdoors with their little ones through gentle mindfulness practices, while connecting with other families in the community.
Programs fill up quickly, so reserve your space in advance. Please reserve one spot for each child in your group. If the program is full, join the waitlist to be notified when a spot becomes available. Specific Orleans location and parking directions will be included with a reminder email closer to the program date.
