Town of Orleans 2014 Open Space Survey
The Orleans Conservation, Recreation and Open Space Plan (CROS) describes Town goals for meetings its open space and recreation needs. The plan is a required submittal to the MA Division of Conservation Services which makes the Town eligible for open space matching grants. Over the last decade, Orleans has been reimbursed for more than 50% of its open space acquisition costs. While the Town is not preparing any grant applications this year, it is necessary to begin the update process now to ensure future eligibility.
