Mark Faherty speaks to a packed house!

To ring in the New Year, friends of the OCT came together to hear Mass Audubon’s Mark Faherty speak about cavity nesting birds. The audience learned about the different types of cavity nesters, and how some of these species can be “vicious killers” while still remaining adorable. Mark gave a presentation that was both humorous and informative to a packed house. At the end of his  lecture, he spoke about ways to get involved and support bluebirds and other cavity nesters. The OCT is thankful to Mark for speaking, especially as we are interested in growing our own bird box monitoring program. If you are interested in volunteering, please get in contact! Thank you to all who joined us, we look forward to seeing you next month to hear Peter Trull speak!
