Walkers will get an up-close look at the aftermath of a prescribed burn, intended to maintain a healthy meadow with native vegetation. Also, one of the most productive nesting sites for diamondback terrapins and lots of other wildlife that enjoy this sand plain grassland that overlooks Henson’s Cove and The River, which links Little Pleasant Bay to Meetinghouse Pond.
