Date: September 23, 2021

Time: 6:00 pm, via Zoom

Location: Virtual lecture

Nicholas Dorian, ecologist, educator, and naturalist, will talk about The Secret Lives of Wild Bees.  More than 4,000 species of bees inhabit North America, and most of them don’t live in hives or make honey. Bee expert Nick Dorian will discuss the natural history and conservation of wild bees: their varied lifestyles, their habitat needs, and their intricate relationships with flowering plants and with other insects.  You’ll come away with a newfound appreciation for the secret lives of these charismatic pollinators, and knowledge about how to identify and support bees in your own backyard.

Event will be via Zoom.  Please check back for registration details in early September.
